Orange County Events Update: March 29, 2015 at 09:48AM

Yesterday we were at Knott’s Berry Farm for the first day of the Boysenberry Festival. The festival kicked off with a Boysenberry Pie eating competition. After 8 minutes and 14 POUNDS of pie consumed, Joey Chestnut, the #1 competitive eater in the world was crowned champion. What do you win for eating 14 pounds of pie? $2000. #KnottsSpring

Here’s are some last minute ideas of things to do this beautiful weekend, 3/28-3/29, in Orange County:

-The Knott’s Berry Farm Boysenberry Festival starts Saturday 3/28 and runs through 4/12. Pie eating contest today 3/28 at 2pm. Admission required:

-Anaheim Citrus Festival is Saturday 3/28 from 12-5pm at Farmers Park at the Anaheim Packing District. Citrus cook-off, music & more! FREE to attend.

-Blue Water Music Festival, 3/28-3/29 at the Sawdust Festival grounds in Laguna Beach. Admission required:

-Spring Flight at SoCo Collection in Costa Mesa, 3/29 from 10am-3pm. Make your own Easter Eggs and draw your own Easter Bugs Bunny at the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity. Petting zoo, live music & more. FREE to attend.
