This is THE weekend for holiday events in Orange County! Choose from 8 tree lighting ceremonies, watch the movie ELF at the beach, take a boat ride with Santa, enjoy a Christmas parade, shop at numerous craft fairs, and more!

  • The Seal Beach Christmas Parade is Friday 12/1 from 7-8:45pm on Main Street from Ocean Ave to PCH. FREE to attend.
  • Laguna Beach Hospitality Night is Friday 12/1 from 5-10pm in downtown Laguna Beach. Live music, tree lighting, Santa, shopping & more. FREE to attend.
  • Merry Movie Night is Saturday 12/2 at Baby Beach in Dana Point. Watch the movie ELF and after the movie enjoy the ceremonial lighting of the Ocean Institutes’ tall ship, the Pilgrim. Activities start at 3pm and the movie starts at 5pm. FREE to attend.
  • The 23rd Annual Nutcracker Christmas Tree Lighting & Holiday Shopping Village is Saturday 12/2 from 10am-7pm in Downtown Anaheim. Snow, kids activities, Santa, tree lighting & more. FREE to attend.
  • The Fountain Valley Tree Lighting is Saturday 12/2 from 4:30pm-8pm at the Recreation Center and Sports Park. Santa, live entertainment, games & more. FREE to attend.
  • The Laguna Niguel Tree Lighting is Saturday 12/2 from 5pm-7pm at City Hall. FREE to attend.
  • San Clemente Santa’s Village By The Sea is Saturday 12/2 from 5pm-8pm. Activities are in 3 locations. Santa, sledding, cookie decorating, live entertainment, outdoor movie & more! FREE to attend.
  • The San Juan Capistrano Tree Lighting is Saturday 12/2 in the Historic Town Center on El Camino Real. Tree lighting starts at 4:15. FREE to attend.
  • Buena Park Candy Caneland and Craft Faire is Saturday 12/2 from 10am-4pm at the Ehlers Event Center. Snow, Santa, games, shopping, food & more. FREE to attend.
  • Take a 20 minute harbor cruise with Santa on Saturday & Sunday from 10am-2pm at Dana Wharf in Dana Point. FREE but a donation is suggested.
  • The 21st Annual Crystal Cove Tree Lighting & Holiday Beach Bazaar is Saturday 12/2 from 10am-5:30pm. Carolers, hot cocoa, Santa, arts & crafts, and more. FREE to attend but there is a fee to park.
  • Christmas at the Mission is Saturday 12/2 from 5:30pm-8pm in San Juan Capistrano. Snow, carolers, cookie decorating, tree lighting & more. Admission is $6.
  • Balboa Village Christmas at the Beach is Saturday 12/2 from 3pm-6pm. Entertainment, tree lighting & more. FREE to attend.
  • Downtown Fullerton Winter Market and Tree Lighting is Saturday 12/2 at 12pm. Shopping, food, face painting, free pictures with Santa (12pm-4pm) & more. FREE to attend.
  • Dana Point Winter Festival and Tree Lighting is Saturday 12/2 from 12-5pm at La Plaza Park. Santa, craft fair, live entertainment & more. FREE to attend.
  • The 23rd Annual Old Town Orange Tree Lighting Ceremony and Candlelight Choir Procession is Sunday 12/3 at 3:30pm in the Old Towne Plaza. FREE to attend.
  • Irvine Winter Wonderland is Sunday 12/3 from 3pm-7pm at the Civic Center. Games, crafts, music, food, Santa, & more. Tree lighting at 5pm. FREE to attend.
  • The Environmental Nature Center in Newport Beach is having their Artisans Marketplace Sunday 12/3 from 11am-4pm. Shop eco-friendly, sustainable, arts and crafts. Admission is $2.
  • Corona Del Mar Christmas Walk is Sunday 12/3 from 11am-4pm. Live entertainment, shopping, Santa & more.
  • Balboa Bay Resort Tree Lighting is Sunday 12/3 from 6-7pm. Live music, a visit from Santa & more. FREE to attend. FREE to attend.
  • The Sawdust Winter Fantasy arts & crafts show continues this weekend and runs every weekend through 12/17 in Laguna Beach. Tickets required.
  • The Sugar Plum Arts & Crafts Festival is all weekend in Buena Park at the Buena Park Downtown Mall. Shop for holiday themed craft items from vendors. FREE to attend.
  • Attend a Full Moon Drum Circle Sunday 12/3 at Aliso Creek Beach in Laguna Beach from approximately 7pm-10pm. Dance by firelight or bring a drum and participate. FREE to attend.
  • The Gem Faire is at the OC Fairgrounds all weekend. Shop for gemstones, crystals, jewelry & more. There is a fee for admission and parking.
