Pacific Symphony “Plazacast” of the concert “Fire & Water” is Saturday 6/13 at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa. The concert will be projected onto the wall of the plaza. Here’s what’s happening this weekend 5/29-5/31 in Orange County:

San Clemente Beach Concert Series kicks off this Friday 5/29, from 6-7:30pm, north of the San Clemente Pier. Bands are the San Clemente High School & Shorecliffs Middle School Jazz bands. FREE to attend. Take a picnic or get a BBQ dinner for $8.

The final concert for the Sunset Serenades series is Friday 5/29 at Heisler Park in Laguna Beach. 6:30-sunset. Musician is the John Troy (Singer/Songwriter). FREE to attend.

Brea SummerFest is 5/29-5/31. Music, rides, games, food & more. Gates open at 5pm on Friday and 12pm on Saturday and Sunday. FREE to attend.

Incredible Dog Challenge Surf Dog Competition is 5/29-5/30 at Huntington State Beach. Event starts at 11am on Saturday. FREE to attend.

OC Spring Home and Garden Show is 5/29-5/31 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Friday 12-7, Saturday 10-7, Sunday 10-6. FREE to attend. The show is in Hall D enter from West Street Transit Plaza.

68th Annual Fish Fry and Carnival is 5/29-31 at Fairview Park in Costa Mesa. Fish Dinners $10. Entertainment, carnival rides, shopping & more. Dinner starts at 5pm on Friday and 12pm on Saturday and Sunday. FREE to attend.

14th Annual Cosmic Creek Surf Competition and Festival is 5/30-5/31 at Salt Creek Beach in Dana Point. Music on the beach Saturday night, food vendors & more. FREE to attend.

Dana Wharf’s summer Reggae Boat Cruise is Saturday 5/30 from 8pm-9:30pm at Dana Point Harbor with the band Cali Conscious. Tickets available through Dana Wharf Whale Watch for $19. Use code “CALI” for $5 off tickets.

Laugh Fest at the The Irvine Improv is Sunday 5/31. Family comedy and magic, for all ages. Tickets available through Irvine Improv for $12.
