It’s going to be a fun filled weekend in OC! The OC Fair opens on Friday, the San Clemente Ocean Fest is all weekend, Disney fans can hit up D23 Expo, there’s 2 nights of Shakespeare by the Sea, a beer festival, 12 outdoor concerts, 6 movies in the park and more!


  • The OC Fair opens on Friday 7/14 and runs through 8/13. Tickets required.
  • The San Clemente Ocean Festival is all weekend. Pancake breakfast, athletic competitions, art show, sandcastle competition, Woodys on the pier, beach party, concert & more. FREE to attend.
  • D23 Expo is all weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center. Panels, celebrities, sneak peeks, exclusive fan opportunities, merch & more. Tickets required. Update: This event is now sold out.
  • Shakespeare by the Sea is this weekend at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo. Enjoy an evening of “Macbeth” (Saturday) or “The Taming of the Shrew” (Sunday). Admission is FREE but donations are greatly appreciated.
  • Brew Hee Haw ‘Craft Beer Roundup’ is back this weekend for its 4th year. Indulge in unlimited tastings from over 80 craft beers, while you enjoy live music, games, & more. Your ticket to Brew Hee Haw also gets you into the fair. Tickets required.
  • The Pageant of the Masters & Festival of Arts continues this weekend in Laguna Beach. Show runs through 8/31. Watch as famous paintings come to life! Tickets required.
  • Art-A-Fair Fine Art Festival continues this weekend in Laguna Beach. Show runs through 9/3. Admission required.
  • The Sawdust Arts and Crafts Festival continues this weekend in Laguna Beach. Show runs through 9/3. Open 10am-10pm daily. Admission required.
  • Art show by the SoCal Plein Air Painters Association is all weekend from 10am-4pm at the Muth Interpretive Center in Newport Beach. FREE to attend.
  • Roxy Fitness “Run SUP Yoga” event is Sunday 7/16 in Huntington Beach. Registration required. Each event is $5.

  • Friday, July 14: “Moana” at Arovista Park Amphitheatre in Brea. Movie begins at dusk.
  • Friday, July 14: “Soul Surfer” at Montwood Park in La Habra. Activities begin at 6pm, movie starts at dusk.
  • Friday, July 14: “Moana” at Mason Regional Park in Irvine at 8pm. (Free parking after 6pm).
  • Friday, July 14: “Tangled” at Champions Sports Complex in Placentia. Movie begins at dusk.

Outdoor Concerts (FREE to attend):

  • Friday 7/14: Big Band 2017 at Saddleback College from 7:30-9:30pm. Enjoy music from Joey Sellers and the Saddleback Big Band, featuring 100 year old singer Shep Sheperd.
  • Saturday 7/15: The Nooks and Clapton Road at the Silverado Fairgrounds in Silverado from 6-10pm. Admission is 1 can of food to be donated to the local food bank.
  • Saturday 7/15: Stone Soul at the Central Park Amphitheatre in La Palma from 6:30-8pm.
  •  Saturday 7/15: West Coast Pops Orchestra at the Civic Center Green in Cypress at 6pm.
  • Sunday 7/16: Pop Vinyl (Pop Variety) at Mike Ward Community Park in Irvine from 5:30-7:30pm.
  • Sunday 7/16: Symphony in the Cities at Civic Center in Newport Beach. Activities and local music starts at 5:30, Pacific Symphony performs at 7pm.
  • Sunday 7/16: Smith (Country) at Central Park in Rancho Santa Margarita from 6-8pm.
  • Sunday 7/16: Rio and Crimes of Passion at Sea Terrace Park in Dana Point from 2:30-6pm.
  • Sunday 7/16: Amanda Castro Band at Huntington Beach Central Park in Huntington Beach at 5pm.
