Here’s what’s happening this weekend 8/28-8/30 in Orange County:

The OC Japan Fair is all weekend, 8/28-8/30, at the OC Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. Food, shopping, sake tasting and more. Admission is $5.

This is one of the last “Movies in the Park” events this summer: Watch “Frozen”, Friday 8/28, at Harper Park in Fountain Valley. Activities start at 6pm. Food trucks onsite include Dogzilla and Chunk-n-Chip. FREE to attend.

Admission is free at the Orange County Museum of Art on Friday 8/28 for “Free Friday”. On Saturday 8/29 they are having an E.A.T Food event. The Exploring Art Through Food event is from 6-9pm and tickets are required. Tickets can be purchased online. More info:

Here’s a “Movie in the Park” event for adults. Watch “Mile…Mile & A Half”, Saturday 8/29, at Laguna Niguel Regional Park from 6:30-9pm. This is an awesome documentary about a group of friends who set out to hike California’s John Muir Trail. FREE to attend. More info:

The St. Regis Monarch Beach Food, Wine and Jazz festival is all weekend, 8/28-8/30, in Dana Point. Tickets required and are still available for select events.

The Gem Faire is all weekend, 8/28-8/30, at the OC Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. Shop for beads, gemstones, jewelry and more. Admission is $7 but you can print a coupon for 2 for 1 admission here:

Dana Point “Summer Concert Series” is Sunday 8/30 from 2:30pm-6pm in Heritage Park. Performers are DC Babylon & The Hanging Gardens Band (Jazz to Rock) & The Springsteen Experience. FREE to attend.

Huntington Beach “Concert Band Summer Series” is Sunday 8/30 at 5pm at HB Central Park. The Laguna Beach Community Band is the performer for this week’s show. FREE to attend.

It’s the last weekend for the Laguna Beach art festivals:

Pageant of the Masters and Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach ends 8/31. Watch as paintings come to life! Tickets required.

Sawdust Arts and Crafts Festival in Laguna Beach ends 8/30. Admission is $8.50.

Art-A-Fair Fine Art Festival in Laguna Beach ends 8/30. Admission is $7.50. More info:
