There’s an a lot of fun things to do this weekend in Orange County. Everything from Cinco de Mayo celebrations, concerts in the park, food festivals, and more!

  • Sunset Serenades returns this Friday night 5/3 to Heisler Park in Laguna Beach. Concerts take place every Friday night in May from 6:30pm to sunset. Take a picnic & listen to live music in the Rockpile Amphitheater. FREE to attend.
  • Rancho Days Fiesta is Saturday 5/5 from 11am-3pm at Heritage Hill Historical Park in Lake Forest. Explore the rich history of Orange County’s Ranchos and Native American tribes. Take part in butter churning, candle dipping, piñata breaking & more! Admission is $5.
  • The 17th Annual International Festival is Saturday 5/5 at from 10:30am-5pm in Soka University in Aliso Viejo. Entertainment, food, shopping & more! FREE to attend. $10 parking on-site.
  • The Annual San Clemente Cinco de Mayo Celebration is Saturday 5/5 from 2pm-5pm in Max Berg Plaza Park. Mariachis, live performances, petting zoo, games, food trucks, and more. FREE to attend.
  • The 22nd Annual Old Towne Tustin Home and Garden Tour is Saturday 5/5. Live music, vintage homes and gardens tour, quilt show & more. Tickets required.
  • Anaheim Cinco is all weekend La Palma Park in Anaheim. Carnival rides, games, entertainment, food & more! FREE to attend.
  • Fiesta De Mayo Celebration is Saturday 5/5 from 1pm-3pm in the Oak Tree Court of the Outlets at San Clemente. Mariachis, actives for kids, and more. FREE.
  • La Habra Citrus Fair starts Friday night and runs all weekend on La Habra Blvd. Live music, food, games, carnival rides & more. FREE to attend.
  • The City of Brea Pet Expo is Saturday 5/5 from 9am-5pm at the Brea Community Center. Meet a working K-9 police dog, adopt a pet, and more!
  • The Wahoo’s OC 5K is coming up on Saturday 5/5th at the OC Fair & Event Center. The finish line party will have beer, tacos, live music, an 80’s costume contest, fun vendors, and one participant will win tacos for a year! More info:
  • The Downtown Santa Ana Art Walk is Saturday 5/5 from 6pm-10pm. Food, shopping, performances & more. FREE to attend.
  • Free Comic Book Day is Saturday 5/5. Comic book stores all over Orange County are participating including locations in Tustin, Orange, Irvine, Lake Forest, Laguna Hills, Fountain Valley. FREE to attend.
  • Wild West Steam Fest is Saturday 5/5 at the Heritage Museum in Santa Ana. Where the old west meets steampunk. Workshops, gunfights, blacksmith, vendors, panels, and more. Tickets required.
  • The Taste of Orange is Sunday 5/6 from 3-7pm in Old Towne Orange. Tickets required.
  • Environmental Nature Center’s Spring Faire and Butterfly House Opening is Sunday 5/6 in Newport Beach, 10am-3pm. This event is perfect for families with young kids. Crafts, native plant sale, face painting, live animals  & more! FREE to attend.
  • The AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) Huntington Beach Open is all weekend. Watch world class athletes compete in beach volleyball. South side of the pier. FREE to attend, however VIP premium seating is available for purchase.
  •  Visit one of the many weekend Farmers Markets in OC

Outside of OC but worth the drive…

  • Renaissance Pleasure Faire is in Irwindale through 5/20. Live performances, jousting, shopping, food, and more. Admission required.
