There are a lot of fun things to do this weekend in Orange County. Shop from over 40 Tiki artists, makers and vendors at the inaugural Tikiland Trading Co. event in Irvine on Saturday, visit a car show in Villa Park, take mom to the Sunset Beach Art Festival for Mother’s Day, and more!

  • Tikiland Trading Co. is Saturday, 5/12, from 10am-3pm, in Irvine. There will be over 40 Tiki artists, makers and vendors, as well as live music by Ukulena and Keanuenue Polynesian Entertainers, Dole Whips by Hula Girls Shave Ice, and food from Wahoo’s Fish Taco. As well as a book signing by pop culture humorist and author Charles Phoenix (signing from 10-1). And if you’re a Disney fan, there will be a few well known, and exceptional, Disney artists and vendors who happen to crossover to Tiki. FREE to attend. For address and more info visit:
  • Sunset Serenades continues at Heisler Park in Laguna Beach, Friday nights in May from 6:30pm to sunset. Take a picnic & listen to live music in the Rockpile Amphitheater. FREE to attend.
  • The annual Sunset Beach Art Festival is all weekend. Over 150 arts & crafts vendors, live music & more. FREE to attend.
  • The 16th Annual Villa Park Car & Bike Show is Saturday 5/12 at 8am on the grounds of the Villa Park High School. Over 100 Customs, Classics, Hot Rods, Motorcycles, food, vendors, music & more. FREE to attend.
  • Airport Day is Saturday 5/12 from 10am-4pm at the Fullerton Municipal Airport. This is a great event for kids! FREE to attend.
  • The Irvine Korean Festival is Saturday 5/12 from 10am-5pm at the Irvine Civic Center. Live entertainment, Korean cuisine, games & more. FREE to attend.
  • Like Totally 80’s Festival is Saturday 5/12 from 11am-9pm at Huntington State Beach. Live music from bands including The Human League, Tiffany, Naked Eyes & more. Tickets required.
  • Visit one of the many weekend Farmers Markets in OC

Outside of OC but worth the drive…

  • Renaissance Pleasure Faire is in Irwindale through 5/20. Live performances, jousting, shopping, food, and more. Admission required.
