There quite a few a fun things to do this weekend, 5/5-5/7, in Orange County:

  • Sunset Serenades return to Heisler Park in Laguna Beach, Friday nights in May from 6:30pm to sunset. Take a picnic & listen to live music in the Rockpile Amphitheater. FREE to attend.
  • Anaheim’s Cinco De Mayo Fiesta is Friday through Sunday in La Palma Park. Classic car show, carnival rides, games, entertainment, food & more! FREE to attend.
  • Santa Ana’s 18th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival is all weekend in Downtown Santa Ana. Live entertainment, carnival rides, food, shopping & more. FREE to attend.
  • The 18th Annual Railroad Days is all weekend from 9am-5pm at the Fullerton Train Station. Tour rail cars, view exhibits, enjoy model train layouts & more. FREE to attend.
  • La Habra Citrus Fair is all weekend at 321 E La Habra Blvd. Live entertainment, food, games, carnival rides & more. FREE to attend.
  • The AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) Huntington Beach Open is all weekend. Watch world class athletes compete in beach volleyball. South side of the pier. FREE to attend, however VIP premium seating is available for purchase.
  • The Annual San Clemente Cinco de Mayo Celebration is Saturday 5/6 from 2pm-6pm at Max Berg Plaza Park. Entertainment, food, games & more! FREE to attend.
  • Soka’s 16th Annual International Festival is Saturday 5/6 from 10:30am-5pm at Soka University in Aliso Viejo. Entertainment, food, shopping & more! FREE to attend. $10 parking on-site.
  • Rancho Days Fiesta is Saturday 5/6 from 11am-3pm at Heritage Hill Historical Park in Lake Forest. Explore the rich history of Orange County’s Ranchos and Native American tribes through music, dance, crafts, presentations & more. Admission is $5.
  • The Annual Old Towne Tustin Home and Garden Tour is Saturday 5/6 from 10am-3pm. Tickets are sold at the door until 2:30pm.
  • Free Comic Book Day is Saturday 5/6. Comic book stores all over Orange County are participating including locations in Tustin, Orange, Irvine, Lake Forest, Laguna Hills, Fountain Valley. FREE to attend.
  • “May Day” Festival is Sunday 5/7 from 11am-3:30pm at Bowers Museum in Santa Ana. Live music, arts & crafts activities & more. FREE to attend.
  • The Taste of Orange is Sunday 5/7 from 3pm-7pm in Old Towne Orange. Tickets required and are sold at the door.
  • OC Marathon, Half Marathon & Wahoo’s 5K is Sunday 5/7. Registration closes at 11:59 p.m on May 5.
  • Silverado Chili Cook-Off & Cinco de Mayo Festival is Sunday 5/7 from 11am-5pm at the Silverado Canyon Fairgrounds & Community Center. FREE to attend. Chili “taster kit” $5.
  • Spring Faire and Butterfly House Opening is Sunday 5/7 at the Environmental Nature Center in Newport Beach from 10am-3pm. Crafts, native plant sale, face painting, live animals, & more. FREE to attend.
