Here’s our list of things to do this weekend, 10/28-10/30, in Orange County: 

  • Anaheim Fall Festival and Halloween Parade is Saturday in Downtown Anaheim. Festival starts at 11am, parade starts at 6pm. Games, costume contests, pumpkin patch, Dia de los Muertos altars, good & more. FREE to attend.
  • Ghosts & Legends Tours are Friday and Saturday in San Juan Capistrano. Take a walking tour of California’s oldest residential street and learn it’s spooky history. Tickets are $8.
  • Dana Wharf “Boo Cruise” event is Friday from 5-7pm in Dana Point. Take a 20 minute haunted harbor cruise. Costume contest on every cruise. Tickets are $5.
  • Dana Point Halloween Spooktacular Moonlight Movie is Friday from 3-9pm. Cookie decorating, magic show, costume parade, games & more. The movie “Hotel Transylvania 2” starts at 7pm. FREE to attend.
  • Laguna Niguel’s Haunted Trails are Friday and Saturday from 6:30-10pm. Adventure through the old abandoned courthouse while zombies inmates rise from the dead. Tickets required.
  • SoCal VegFest is all weekend from 10am-6pm at OCC in Costa Mesa. Cooking demos, yoga and meditation, guest speakers, & more. FREE to attend.
  • Gwen Stefani is playing the final 2 shows at Irvine Meadows Saturday and Sunday night. Tickets are still available.
  • Fall Corgi Beach Day is Saturday from 10am-3pm at Huntington Dog Beach. Watch as corgi dogs participate in costume contests, talent contests, limbo contest & more! FREE to attend.
  • Higgins Manor haunt experience is happening 10/28-10/31 in Mission Viejo. This event runs from 7-10pm each night. “The best home haunt in South OC” is FREE to attend but donations are welcomed and benefit the GreenDog Foundation.
  • Boot Hill (OC’s most elaborate Halloween yard display) is happening 10/28-10/31 in Irvine. FREE to attend but donations are welcomed and benefit CHOC.
  • Laguna Hills kids events “Ghostly Affair” (ages 6 & under) and “A’Maze’ingly Haunted Hills” (ages 7 & up) are Saturday at the Community Center. Admission varies per event.
  • Mission Viejo’s Hometown Halloween is Saturday from 3-7pm at the Community Center. Activities include pony rides, face painting, games, costume parade & more.
  • The OC Halloween Zoo-tacular is Saturday from 10am-4pm in Orange. Watch as zoo animal receive treat-filled pumpkins throughout the day. First 100 kids in costume get a free gift. Admission is $2.
  • The 19th Annual OC Marketplace Trick or Treat Festival is Sunday from 9:30-2:30pm in Costa Mesa. Trick or treating, face painting, entertainment & more. Admission required.

And coming up on Monday, 10/31…

  • Huntington Beach HBoo SpookyTown is from 4pm-8pm in downtown HB. Live entertainment, games, petting zoo, trick-or-treating, costume contest & more. FREE to attend.
