Here’s a list of 14 things to do this weekend in Orange County, for families, and for adults ready to have some fun! There’s a taco and beer festival happening in Dana Point, Taste of Fountain Valley, a dessert festival in Anaheim, a plant and garden expo in Fullerton, Casper Adventure Day in San Juan Capistrano, and more!

  • The 16th Annual Taste of Fountain Valley is Saturday 4/6 from 5:30pm-9pm at Los Cab Sports Village. 30+ restaurants, wineries, breweries & more. Tickets required.
  • The Sabroso Craft Beer, Taco & Music Festival is all weekend at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point. Munch on some tacos while you listen to live music from bands including The Offspring, Bad Religion, Flogging Molly. Tickets required.  
  • The Aliso Viejo Spring Celebration is Saturday 4/6 from 9am-11:30am in Grand Park. Enjoy visits with Peter Rabbit, face painting, arts & crafts, and more. FREE to attend.
  • The OC Great Park’s first Family Game Day of the season is Saturday 4/6. There are lawn games, board games, and other activities to do with your family. FREE.
  • Caspers Wilderness Park in San Juan Capistrano is having an “Adventure Day” Saturday 4/6 from 10am-3pm. Storytelling, guided hikes, games, exhibits, and more. Free to attend.
  • The “Green Scene” Plant and Garden Expo is all weekend at the Fullerton Arboretum. Workshops, garden talks, specialty plants and more. Admission required.
  • Attend a beach cleanup in San Clemente on Saturday 4/6 from 9am-11am at Calafia State Beach. Beach cleanups are held on the first and second Saturday of the month. FREE to attend.
  • The Downtown Santa Ana Art Walk is Saturday 4/6 from 6pm-10pm. Food, shopping, performances & more. FREE to attend.
  • Sweet Street Anaheim is Saturday 4/6 from 5pm-9pm on Center Street Promenade in Anaheim. The street will be lined with sweet for purchase, as well as shopping vendors, and more. FREE to attend.
  • OC Improv Fest runs through 4/6 at STAGEStheatre in Fullerton. Over 40 performances. Tickets available at the door.
  • Bowers Museum Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival is Sunday 4/7 from 11am-3:30pm. Enjoy traditional Japanese dance, music, art, face painting, printmaking, and more. Admission required (free for residents of Santa Ana).
  • Knott’s Boysenberry Festival continues this weekend and runs through 4/28 in Buena Park. Enjoy over 75 boysenberry inspired dishes, drinks, and more. Park admission required.
  • The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival continues this weekend and runs through 4/23. Celebrity chefs, culinary demos, seminars, special food items & more. Park admission required.
  • Visit one of the many weekend Farmers Markets in OC (some will not be happening on Easter so double check before you go)
