It’s going to be beautiful this weekend and there are a ton of fun things to do in Orange County to help you enjoy the weather:

  • Movie in the Park: Watch Disney’s UP on Friday 4/21 in Hurless Barton Park in Yorba Linda. Movie starts at 8pm. Craft for kids at 7:15pm. FREE snacks and FREE to attend.
  • The Newport Beach Film Festival starts Thursday 4/20 and runs through 4/27. The films are fantastic and there’s truly something for everyone. Tickets required and vary in price.
  • The 10th Annual Record Store Day is Saturday 4/22. Support your local record store and find exclusives available only on Record Store Day.
  • Feast on meaty treats this Saturday 4/22 as Foodbeast brings “Meat Street” to MainPlace Mall in Santa Ana from 11am-11pm. GA admission is $10 but you can get an All-You-Can-Consume VIP Pass for $60. More info:
  • Don the Beachcomber’s Tiki Makeke is Saturday 4/22 from 10am-3pm in Huntington Beach. Shop from 50+ vendors while you enjoy live entertainment. Admission is $10 but you get a $10 drink/food voucher.
  • Wild West SteamFest is Saturday 4/22 from 10am-6pm at the Heritage Museum of Orange County in Santa Ana. Where the Old West meets Steampunk! Gun fights, Blacksmith, living history, vendors, live music and more. Tickets required.
  • Dapper Day Expo is all weekend at the Disneyland Hotel. Followed by the Spring 2017 Dapper Day on Sunday 4/23. Join thousands of Disney fans dressed in vintage styles from the bygone era. The Expo is at the Disneyland Hotel Exhibit Hall and is FREE to attend. Dapper Day requires Disneyland Park admission. Traffic and parking will be impacted in the surrounding area.
  • The San Clemente Micro-Brew Fest is Saturday 4/22 from 12pm-5pm at Left Coast Brewing Co. Enjoy Micro-Brews from all over SoCal. Admission required.
  • The 5th Annual OC Improv Fest is all weekend at STAGESTheatre in Fullerton. Tickets required and available at the door.
  • The California Wine Festival is Friday and Saturday in Dana Point. California’s best wineries, top chefs, live music and more. Tickets required.
  • Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum’s Sunday Concert Series continues on 4/23 at 2pm in Yorba Linda, with a Junior Chamber Music Concert. FREE to attend.
  • Watch Jurassic Park on the rooftop behind The Frida Cinema in downtown Santa Ana on Sunday 4/23. Movie starts at 7:30pm. FREE to attend.

Earth Day Events:

  • The “Green Scene” Plant and Garden Expo is all weekend at the Fullerton Arboretum. Workshops, garden talks, specialty plants and more. Admission required.
  • The Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve in Huntington Beach is having an Earth Day Festival on Saturday 4/22 from 10am-3pm. FREE to attend.
  • San Clemente is celebrating Earth Day on Saturday 4/22 from 10am-2pm at Parque Del Mar. Beach cleanup at 8:30am, followed by educational displays, arts & crafts, and more. FREE to attend.
  • Crystal Cove State Beach is celebrating Earth Day on Saturday 4/22 in Laguna Beach. Help with beautification projects such as planting, watering, mulching, beach cleanup and more. FREE to attend. Parking fees apply.
  • Laguna Beach Kelpfest is Saturday 4/22 from 9am-3pm, on the cobblestones of Main Beach. Live performances, exhibits, arts & crafts and more. FREE.
  • The City of Laguna Niguel is celebrating Earth Day on Saturday 4/22 with a “Go Green” volunteer event from 8:30am-11:30am at Crown Valley Community Park. Help improve the landscaping of the 18-acre preserve. FREE to attend.
  • Earth Day at the Bay is Saturday 4/22 from 10am-3pm at the Peter and Mary Muth Interpretive Center in Newport Beach. Scavenger hunt, exhibits, live entertainment, arts & crafts and more. FREE to attend.
  • The Ecology Center in San Juan Capistrano is celebrating Earth Day on Saturday 4/22. Learn about composting, organic container gardening, pickling and more. FREE to attend.
  • The City of Mission Viejo is celebrating Earth Day on Saturday 4/22 from 8am-12pm. Help plant drought-tolerant trees, shrubs & more. Volunteers must sign a waiver. FREE hotdogs and ice cream for volunteers. FREE to attend.
